Living Well means living the healthiest life possible. It also means living “a good life”, a life filled with friends and activities of our choice.
The Stevens Center’s Living Well program was pilot funded in part by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities. It is now supported by local contributions. It is designed to help people with developmental disabilities to live well by:

Who Can Be Involved in Living Well? |

| 1. | We will provide training and support for you in this chance to improve the quality of life for a person with a disability. |
||
| 2. | After training, you must be willing to give a minimum of 2 hours per month for 12 months for community involvement. |
||
| 3. | Examples of community involvement include walking at Kiwanis Park, using free passes at Sanford Nautilus (which we will provide), attending a weight loss program, or a social activity. |
